The Moral of The Story

An interesting story comes to my mind as told to by my twin brother Abdullah. It goes like this. There was a boy by the name of X. Being not very brilliant in studies, one day his teacher asked as to,"Who was Mahatma Gandhi?".He had no answer so he just looked on,the teacher threw him out of the class and told him to stand at the door. The principal of the school happened to pass through there and asked as to why was he standing at the door of the class, the boy narrated the whole story to him. The principal was disgusted and he threw him out of the school with the direction to never come again. On coming home his father surprised at his early return asked the reason. On hearing the whole story he too was disgusted and threw him out of the house. He was clueless and depressed, crying profusely, the local politician,
the mayor of the city happened to pass through that road.  Stopping the car he asked the boy as to why was he crying. The boy opened his heart to him,he was just so agitated that he asked him to leave his city and move on to the Capital of the country. Surprised, he did so. He reached the capital and asked for an appointment with the prime minister to put forward his case and ask for his rights.

The PM was aghast at the boy's story and his petty knowledge of the ignorance of Mahatma Gandhi, he ordered the boy to be deported out of the country to the place he chose. The boy was deported to the USA,on his choice.
Then days passed and years flew by,decades were lost and the once ignorant boy worked slowly towards his destiny. He became rich, filthy rich, a billionaire.
One day 50 years later while jogging through a street that he had been using quiet often he saw a huge mirror on the roadside pavement at a window showcase. He just paused and stood there in the middle of the road, staring blindly at the mirror looking at his greyish streaks that have given their blackness to compensate for the ignorance and foolishness that had been so much his trade mark. How he had worked and toiled hard day in and day out to become what he was today. How he was a gem to his nation, to his country. Now no one could throw him away as it is for being so foolish or whatever he was?.............Suddenly! a truck heavily speeding honking its brazen horn at full volume approached at full speed and just knocked down our Hero "The Mr. X". He was dead.
Now the question that was asked to me by my dear brother as to-"What was the moral of the story?"
Scratching my head time and again for a whole lot of week, it was finally disclosed by him..........the moral was simple, the lesson we have to learn is oh so there for us to see.Its simple - DO NOT STAND AT THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH YOUR MIND
SOMEWHERE ELSE.
As simple as that.
